Crop Circles are areas of cereal or similar crops that have been systematically flattened to form various geometric patterns. The biz application part is Advertising. Circlemakers is one such company founded by John Lundberg (UK) which is into advertising through crop circles. Circlemakers.org has created numerous crop circles since the mid 1990s for movies, T Shows, music videos, adverts and PR Stunts.
